Bespoke windows for fairground attraction!
ICW UK Ltd are helping ride operators across the UK to deliver all the fun of the fair!
The bespoke windows feature in control booths and pay kiosks produced by PWS Rides Ltd to accompany the mobile rides they design and manufacture for hundreds of the UK’s travelling fair operators.
The family run firm which designs and produces the Sizzler and Twister, Dodgems, a range of smaller rides for children and the brand-new Super Trouper, customises the rides to meet the colour schemes and themes specified by their customers. In order to do that, they need to be able to alter and specify the scope and size of the windows for the control booths which is where ICW UK Ltd comes in, making individual windows to fit as required.
Windsor-based PWS Rides Ltd was set up by Perrin Stevens in 2014 and has been working with ICW UK Ltd from the beginning, building on the 10-year relationship ICW previously enjoyed with Perrin’s father who had run a similar business.
“Last year we produced 16 large rides. They are technically very complex pieces of engineering which need to meet high health and safety standards. Although structurally they are designed the same, we customise each to customers’ specifications in terms of cosmetic themes and lighting,” explained Perrin Stevens’ wife Roseanne.
Why go anywhere else?
“The control and pay kiosks need to blend in with the overall theme of the ride and so windows’ size and positioning can change depending on the layout of the booths. We find ICW UK Ltd easy to work with, competitive on price, understanding and helpful. They know what we want, we order it and it arrives – no hassle! The products are also a good quality and, on the odd occasion, there might be an issue, they put it right as soon as possible. We have no complaints so why go elsewhere.”
