Food Prep Area Windows
ICW food preparation windows are used in areas where high standards of hygiene are essential, the design of these windows reduces areas that dirt can build up in and also make them easy to clean. They feature robust extruded aluminium frames, which can have a powder coated or silver anodised finish. They can be glazed with 6mm polycarbonate to prevent food being contaminated by shattered glass, toughened 5mm or 6mm glass can be utilised with a shatterproof film, laminated glass is also an option. ICW have two main designs for food preparation windows one type is flush fitting and has no window ledges, the other type gives a window ledge on one side only. Both designs can be adapted to suit varied panel or wall thickness. Sealed double glazed units & thermally broken frames can also be accommodated. If required, the windows can be specified to have an opening portion these are normally vertical or horizontal sliding.
